MAMF

Again, for the third time in three years in a row I get to perform in the Migrants' Festival in Changwon. This time, I performed Tari Pendet for the first time in this festival. The past two year I performed Tari Saman. Last year, we even got to be on TV! Well actually this year, Saman got to be on TV again.

Eventhough saman got to be on TV again, I decided to perform Tari Pendet. After all, Tari Pendet was the first traditional dance I learned. It was actually my first time not performing saman with the others. It felt kinda weird not being on stage with them, instead I was the audience. That feeling when you decided to let go of something you are comfortable with, just to experience some changes. Just to actually see what is out there. So this is what it feels like when you watch saman. I actually got goosebumps watching them. They are great.

October Cats

I'm currently in love with my new background for twitter. It's orange and cats are on it! I just changed it today. I can't remember when was the last time I changed considering I don't really tweet. I always like a good change. It feels fresh.

BIFF 2013

Finally, I am proud to say that I've been BIFF. It's my 3rd year living in Busan and this year's BIFF is my first visit! It was pretty cool. I got to see a lot of celebs. I only know few though. But the vibe was great. It's been a pretty long time being in the crowd, shouting together. It felt phenomenal.

Just like last year, it was located in Haeundae. They did a really great job with the pavillion and the stage. Haeundae looked really awesome that night. I got to attend the Blue Carpet event, that's how I got to see a lot celebs. Too bad there weren't any hollywood celeb or Indonesian celeb. I was hoping to one at least. The event ended at 11PM, so by that time, the weather got really cold. I was literally freezing considering the only layer covering my body was this almost-sheared blouse.

Book Review - "Who moved my cheese?"

Looking at my current state, a good friend of mine lent me this book by Dr. Spencer Johnson called, Who moved my cheese?

I finished this book pretty fast considering its huge font through out the 94 pages. It's an easy read. It talks about how these 4 characters who live in a maze cope with the fact that all their cheese has been moved from their station. Each of them has different characters. There is the one that accepts the fact that the cheese has been moved and finds other cheese. The other one just sits around waiting for more cheese. It's actually supposed to be a metaphor for accepting change. And that's a good message in general. Interesting concepts, but simplistic.
